In my spare time I enjoy photography and currently work with a Leica M8 & Summicron-C 40mm f/2, a Leica Digilux 2, and a Panasonic LX100. This photographic work encompasses my research field sites, but also extends to portraiture, climbing, and documentary photography.

A calendar of images taken for the Danish Refugee Council in Georgia. Photographs shot during October/November 2011, focussing on internally displaced people from the 1992-93 war in Abkhazia and Georgia, and the 2008 South Ossetia War.
